JACOP respects the privacy of visitors to its website, in particular the rights of visitors with regard to the automated processing of personal data. Due to full transparency with JACOP's customers, JACOP has formulated and implemented a policy regarding these processing operations, their purpose, and the possibilities for stakeholders to exercise their rights as best as possible.

Personal data we process

Any personal data submitted via the contact form (name, email address, message) is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties. Data is stored securely and deleted upon request.

Updates and newsletters

When you subscribe to updates on jacop.art, shop.jacop.art or research.jacop.art, we store your email address, your language preference, the site you subscribed on and the date. We use this only to send the updates you signed up for: a subscription via research.jacop.art only receives research updates, a subscription via jacop.art or the shop only receives the JACOP digest. The legal basis is your consent.

Every email contains a link to change your language or unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe, we no longer email you. On request we delete your data completely. Your data is stored on the server of our Dutch hosting provider and is not shared with third parties.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact hellojacop.art.

This Cookie Policy explains how JACOP uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.

This website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, and no data is shared with advertisers.

What we store in your browser

Only what the site needs to work: your language and theme preference, and whether you have already seen the introduction animation or the exhibition invitation. If you log in to the admin area, a login cookie keeps you signed in. This information stays in your browser and is not used to track you.

Because none of this requires consent under Dutch law, the site does not show a cookie banner. Should analytics ever be added, we will ask for your consent first.

All photographs, artworks, and visual content on jacop.art are the exclusive property of Jermaine Aroma (JACOP) and are protected by Dutch and international copyright law.

Note that sole copyright to the associated artworks and prints is fully retained by the artist. Any unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is in violation of international copyright law. Purchase of an original photo artwork or print does not transfer the copyrights. The artist reserves the right to create printed reproductions of his original works for sale.
